A Word from Blythe Brumleve:
“I wanted to start the website years ago because I thought I was always the only girl who loved sports and video games. Once I discovered the internet, I realized there was a network of girls who were just like me and were seeking representation. I find a lot of girls grew up either playing with Barbie™ dolls and makeup and never knowing sports and video games or grew up playing sports and video games and never learning how to put on makeup. That’s where GuysGirl.com comes in. We bridge the gap between tomboys and girly-girls.”

A Fall to Rise is a five piece Rock/Metal band from Jacksonville, FL. Their sound combines intense vocal melodies and harmonies with driving guitar licks, all brought together by a thundering rhythm section. Their sound has been classified by some as sleazy made sexy. AFTR readily agrees with this, claiming influences such as Pantera, Guns N Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, and Motley Crue just to name a few. With the release of their debut “66 Miles To Vegas,” AFTR have made a significant dent on the Jacksonville and North Florida music scene. AFTR combined have experience that exceeds 50 years of playing and promoting music. With over 100 live shows between the 5 of them, you can expect a high quality live performance that will be sure to bring down the house and captivate the audience. Having earned slots playing with acts such as Disturbed, Lacuna Coil, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt and many more, their fan base continues to grow exponentially. AFTR plan to further promote “66 Miles To Vegas” with a full tour and list of in-store appearances scheduled for late 2009 through early 2010. “66 Miles To Vegas” thrusts audiences through an adrenaline funhouse of what could easily be mistaken as the sound track for the Seven Deadly sins. From the fan dubbed “stripper love song” entitled “Faded & X-Rated” to the empowering anthem-like chorus of “Rise Of The Fallen” telling, “to rise, we must fall”. “66 Miles To Vegas” is a masterful blend of power and aggression, yet still manages to capture the delicate intricacies of well structured melodies and vocal harmonies.
